If you went to an event and there were House Doms (not Dommes) available, would you play with them?

I only play with friends, and I have several friends who DM / House Dom at events so probably. But if I didn't know them, it would depend on their reputation (they could still be tossers even if someone had asked them to be a house Dom) and would also depend on what was agreed (and adhered to) between us before play. | |

It would depend on the Dom, and if I felt comfortable enough to play with them. I'd probably watch from the wings for a while first though, to suss them out. L x | |

Thanks both. It was a random comment with friends tonight - we all know males subs will play with Femme Doms, we weren't overly sure if ladies take up the service. Not huffy or stuffy, nor tiny or tall,

To my knowledge I've only talked to one bloke who worked as a house dom, but as he was a bit of an attention-seeking kleptomaniac sociopath it kinda put me off the idea for a while

I think I would tend to agree with Lesley's statement, and probably more so than with a House Domme. I know that's not fair, and probably has to do with being mostly lesbian. I'm just more picky with the men I play with. But the same rules should apply, talk first, discuss limits, etc. And, if you feel safe with a woman in that situation, why not? I feel safer playing with a stranger in a club than I would at home. You say Ouch like it's a bad word. | |

Quiet?! Okaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay Thanks for the replies ladies and MM. To answer my own question, yes I would if a) I found them attractive, b) if I knew they had a good reputation, c) if I'd observed and liked what I saw. Like Pen, I feel safer playing in a club environment than at home with someone I don't know well, so with my Single Female Sub hat on, it would be a win/win situation for me. Ok so I am not single but my Sir is quite happy for me to engage in play with others, especially if I am out without him. After watching a House Dom if I liked the way he played I would have no hesitation in playing with a House Dom. As others have commented I feel far safer playing with a stranger in public. If you don't like what you see, what you read, then just move along. Life is too short to waste it arguing about the little things. |
