Murdoch is also being sued by a lot of shareholders in the USA. Claims that he didn't act sooner about the hacking accusations and so forth. Could be another serious cockpunch for the corporation.

"a lot" would be a group that holds 1% of NI stock. They are not sueing but claiming in press releases due to mismanagement, nepotism etc, that NI stock is undervalued compared to other media companies due to the "Murdoch effect."

This could be(Is) true but hardly a sueing issue, rather an attempt to get certain individuals removed from the board.

Undervalued usually means a company becomes a target for takeover where the price inevitably rises.

Negative equity in the 4th estate - who'd have thunked it?

It's been reported NI tried to access the voicemail of 9/11 victims for a while already - when Fux News is a major vehicle for the nutters of the T party. That was reported in Aussie press some time ago - looks like the cancer diagnosis is going viral, so to speak. The met are in for a right royal spanking, and even newsnight was sympathetic to one Gordon Brown tonight. Who'd have thunked that?

Can't help wondering how many hacks and execs from the Fail, Mirror, etc are quietly pooping themselves as well, burning notebooks, reformatting hard drives and nuking backups.

It's interesting the second enquiry - the 'morality tale', isn't to be judicial, have the frames of ref. for that been published yet?

Well,that is the way of the world. Everything has turned upside down. But the simple thing is who want to take over a company whoes shares are dropping faster in value then a northern rock bank account.
