May I say Beau_Tox you have written a very well framed, constructive criticism of a criticism. One in fact that I find hard to criticise.
I admit I have not organised a great many events [A Munch and the odd school fate]but have always been pleased to recieve good constructive criticism whilst normally directing brash, rude ones back to whence they came. It takes no longer time to be critical whilst highlighting a positive point than it does to slant people brashly. I know which I prefer to give and recieve and have occasionally been sent back a small piece of cheese too [a little tip for you there].

Yay! hop along - I see the meds are kicking in (ha ha - 'kicking'.... get it )
".... slant people brashly."
I think there should be a ban on all slanting posts - they're a pain in the neck
[By the way - this doesn't amount to a peer review - sorry] Love is when you kiss all the time. Then when you get tired of kissing, you still want to be together and you talk more.

Nothing quite like messing about on boats.
I spent a pleasant evening sightseeing. I think London looks so much better from the river. And you can get up close and personal with bridges and stuff.
Good to see a few people who I hadn't seen for a very long time. |

How big was your sample size and what steps did you take to ensure people weren't lying? You obviously haven't received the memos I received from fellow passengers.
People are reluctant to go public when given a bad deal. BDSM events goers are no different. I take the view that by complaining people can fix things and know how well things are going. If complaining gets better events can you honestly say it is wrong?

Oh so now you're bringing in your imaginary friends to back up your argument? I have no idea who you are despite your claims to have run a million events, but your posts sound more like malice than constructive criticism. Do you suffer from that same old syndrome that's been on the scene for the past 20 years - not liking other promoters because they don't acknowledge your absolute greatness? |

Didn't you know, a very large proportion of the membership of IC are just imaginary friends. In fact @Bohnanza is a complete figment of all our collective imagination. Personally I couldn't give a figment about the whole thread.

With the greatest respect to your good self SOS if you couldnt give a figment about the whole thread why are you adding to it?
I honestly believe there is a little bit of completely unhealthy animosity going on in this thread.
You know how it goes with a few of the new ones who come onto forums such as this. Through no fault of there own they sometimes think that anything written on a forum is a fact.
So maybe its time to ban positive feed back and just concentrate on the negative after all it seems to give a lot more entertainment value.

As for taking it seriously – well – you couldn't could you …......
