Going well
people I work with are very nice, company is nice and so's the company restaurant <grin @ my priorities>
Job itself is relatively easy, not sure if long term it's challenging enough but it's only three days in and for now it suits me just fine.
Glad it's the weekend though, I need some snooze and relax time. Didn't have much time to get used to the idea of working again after 5 months off, so it's all a bit of a shock to the system, but I'm sure a good sleep or two this weekend will do. Thank god I don't have children or other commitments that interfere with snooze time ![]()
Hope everyone else out there looking for work finds something soon too <hugs>

During my wild and misspent youth I worked in a place where the loony who ran the canteen there tried to get me to buy one of her 'specials', a cheese pasty floating in a bowl of ox-tail soup. What her cooking lacked in taste, style and sophistication it more than made up for in originality. I asked her for some pepper once and she replied 'Oooo, la de da'. Augusti Ro Laren Futatrix.

Congratulations! I know though what its like getting back into the rhythm of work.I remember having to go to the filing room and laying between the racking just to get a short rest for my weary body.

Great to hear. What is it with new jobs, its just like starting School all over again. I'm self-emplyed contractor and it still hurts. Trying to fit in, find friends and even find what the hours are. Horrible Enjoy your weekend off, but the hardest is over. michelle xx |
