The Psychopath Test by Jon Ronson - I found it quite unputdownable... Fascinating & frightening at the same time. My thoughts are still a bit jumbled so I'll make more sense of it later but it's got some interesting things to say which are relevant to us, especially on ultraviolence & extreme porn - and on how the police are prone to profile those who like violent porn as potentially dangerous psychopaths.
But there's so much more too, about how DSM-III (and IV...) came into being, and created new mental illnesses, literally overnight making millions 'mentally unstable.'
And of course, now there's the added fun of spotting the psychopath... I'm certain that IC will be a safe haven for many to hide in plain sight.... But also take a look around your office - psychopaths are apparently 4-5 times more likely to be running companies than in the general population... (although that's still low at 4-5%)... ![]()
If anyone else has read it, would be interested in discussing.

It's just as likely that a psychopath will be saying he or she runs a Company when they don't. Low level ones are too lazy to bother themselves with the real thing. I met a diagnosed psychopath on IC and he came with references from two very well known (on both sides of the pond) submissives. Well done me!
