Another post prompted these questions from me, and I thought I would ask the assembled audience.
What cinema movies have you seen this year that you really enjoyed?
What cinema movies are you really looking forward to?
Recently, I enjoyed both X-Men First Class and Green Lantern (thinking of going to Green Lantern again), loved Paul.
Really looking forward to Harry Potter, Captain America looks good too..
So, what does your list look like?

Oh, and Thor was pretty good too. I actually saw that twice, although it wasn't planned, but enjoyed. Here's a list of movies out this year. http://www.movieweb.com/movies/2011 You say Ouch like it's a bad word.

My fave this year has to be 'Unknown' starring Liam Neeson, due to the fact I did not see the end coming. I love it when a film can do that to me as I have become one of those people that can see many things coming in films from a mile off. I am looking forward to HP7 Part 2 One that I hope to see is 'Stakeland' (not mentioned in your link. Pirates of the Caribbean in 3D was a letdown (due to it being a post production 3D conversion) I am wavering on watching Transformers 3 in 3D as it has (apparently) been filmed in 'Real 3D' Also a special mention has to go out for 'Avatar' in 3D (I'm sure that was released less than 12 months ago), as blew my socks off. WILL buy it when they release it in 3D on dvd There is a fine line between sanity and insanity. I have a foot firmly planted either side of that line

I've just realised I've only seen 2 films this year; Thor and X Men. Not huffy or stuffy, nor tiny or tall,
But fluffy, just fluffy, with no brains at all.

Now, now, now, can't go breaking the rules. Should be flogged for that. It is a post about the 2011 films, not the last 12 months films. I agree, Avatar 3D kicks butt, but did not come out in 2011, so should not be on this list. Sorry. You say Ouch like it's a bad word.

Limitless - Pretty good, which surprised me. The hangover 2 - Rubbish - Only watched half of it. Battle Los Angeles - Enjoyed, but more of a war film that sci-fi really. Insidious - Good creepy start, tailed off a bit, regulation shock ending. Thor - Fun, I really enjoyed the humour in this. Scream 4 - Zzzzzzzzzzzz. Green Lantern - Watching that tonight. Super 8 - Nice movie, takes you back to ET, Goonies etc. Troll Hunter - Erm, Trolls, being hunted, in Norway. Looking forward to :- Captain America Transformers Apollo 18 Cowboys and Aliens Immortals Real Steel Not looking forward to :- Harry Potter. Sorry people, but I just don't like it.
I thought I saw your name on a loaf of bread yesterday. But when I looked again it said "Thick Cut".
