LOL about the hairless cat!
I have really sensitive skin, so whichever method I have used ends up with major irritation even without taking into account any regrowth issues. After minutes/hours (as opposed to hours/days) it starts to look and feel really irritated and not appealing There's a somebody I'm longing to see, I hope that he turns out to be, someone to watch over me

Personally I used to prefer waxing but def NOT strip wax, it is so much more painful. I have recently started the process of having laser hair removal done and to be honest although it's expensive, it's pretty pain free and you only need to "top up" every 6 months to a year. ( although a friend of mine had hers done 3 years ago and she has never needed to have any extra sessions as she is hair free)!!!! So in my opinion if you want hair gone that is the way to go x

Urgh, keeping kitty hair free is the bane of my life!! I epilate the top bit as I can do that without too much pain but having been pinched on my undercarriage, I'm sure as shit not going to epilate there again so I use an electric shaver. Personally, I do like to be hairless but it is a faff and I agree about the contortionist thing too!

I've tried various ways of being hair free, and for me, shaving works best. Waxing disagreed with my skin horribly, delapitory creams are just more trouble than they're worth (and they smell horrid) and epilators make my eyes water just by looking at them. So razors it is!
Having gone hair free, I have to say that I could never go back; it just seems a tad icky now, having all that hair around your lady bits!

I'm in the razor brigade too. I've never tried waxing there, but have on other parts of my body, and it didn't agree with me, and was far too painful. Epilation is painful too, though not to the same extent as waxing. As for removal creams etc, I've never found them effective enough. I've had Laser treatment before (though on my face), and agree if you want permanent removal, this is the way to go. One thing I will say though, is its only really effective on dark hair. Light coloured hair may not be removed. just my 2p's worth

Ok I confess, I really did laugh out loud when I read this.
I really would have thought it was obvious not to let something that rotates and pinches then pulls anywhere near your lips though! - Master of posting at the bottom of a page - Edited 20 Jun 11, 2:59 PM by Mr_Frost

Only shaving causes that itchiness.

It wasn't deliberate, lol!
Note to self, epilation after a glass or three of wine = a really dumb and potentially painful thing to do
