Just wrote a big long blog about my day. Clicked preview and read what I had written.
What a load of bollocks and drivel. So yet again I have hit the delete button and got rid. Where can I vent???
Cant speak to my family, when I talk to friends I feel as if I am being negative and dragging them down. There is nothing worse that somebody moaning and groaning to you. I end up apologiesing and talking about them.
My boss has offered her ear but if I moan to much it could weaken my position. So I thought I would put it all down on here and when I went through it, it was far to personal to be splashed all over IC.
I suppose I could tell my dog, he always listens when hes not licking his arse.
One good thing about today. I have promised myself that no matter what is going on with me that I will be my normal flirty dirty minded evil self, even if I dont feel like it.

Dude, but this is a big part of what they're there for! Don't judge yourself on their behalf! You lean on them every now and then, and you prop them up when they need to do some leaning in return. And if you lean too hard, then they kick off, and tell you to stand the hell up and get your shit straight. You need other people to be a mirror, so you can better understand when you're being a self-indulgent misery guts or if you've genuinely got some demons that need uncorking and exorcising. I know it's tricky, given that part of friendship is also to provide distraction and entertainment at the drop of a hat. I don't know your friends at all, but perhaps give it a whirl and whinge your hardest at them, y'know? They may surprise you. Failing that, I don't see any reason why you're not allowed to vent and navel-gaze like fuck on here. Works for me! | ||

I agree, and I bet that your friends have used the opportunity to moan and groan at / with you in the past. If you need to get it off your chest, as they used to say, 'better out than in'. Tod - Life's tragedy is that we get old too soon and wise too late. |
