In September, they will jointly present a weekend of events consisting of : Heresy n Heelz second "on tour" event of 2011 will be a full scale H n H club night in the 600 capacity Sound Control Venue on Oxford Rd. The 2 floor club is one of Manchester's top live music venues, and is in easy reach of the City Centre (10 mins walk). Highlights include : H n H Produced stage show headlined by Ministry of Burlesque's Kittie Klaw, with Marnie Scarlet, Frankie Lynn, Havana Hurricane & hosted by Rosie Lugosi Meet & Greet by the Heresy Burlesque Belles Live performance from Psychobilly Legends The Graveyard Johnnys Top H n H Resident DJ's + Dr Sid + Guest DJ's from Club Lash

Just hope they get the market permit as many of us know what the town hall think about fetish events.just looked they want £300 plus £8.50 a trader is it worth it? I feel it a big gamble to hold the market side of it.

Thanks for the heads up MrBoo and yes we do have a "market rights license" application as we need it for both the Friday & the Saturday events. Its the first city we have operated in that enforces this bit of legislation that appears to date back to the 1800's. I am told it is designed to regulate the amount of market type of operations taking place in a given area to ensure that there are not too many competing with each other. The department who deals with this have actually been very helpful and courteous indeed and the costs are no where near what you indicate. The more difficult bit for organisers is the 16 page application form + requirements for PLI/ELI, risk assessments, method statements, safe operating procedures etc etc, which luckily we can comply with. | ||
