 There'll be more details to come, such as directions, etc and I'll create and update an Event post very soon, (basically after I've popped down there to see for my own eyes that this and that is as it was/needed).
Update: BBQ site 'B' has been booked. From the carpark, you go through the main gates facing onto the lake and turn right, follow the path around the lake, you'll pass the Adventure Playground and head slightly uphill to where the ground starts to overlook the lake. There are wooded areas on your right at this point. BBQ site B is Just into these trees. I'll arrange something to mark where I'll be and let you know what that is, obviously before the day. I do know there are disabled parking spaces and WC's. There will be food and refreshments available up to a point but I thought it would be nice if everyone brought something along to contribute. This could be a dish of something or packets of nibbles/savouries. You get the gist.
Update: There is a BBQ pit at site B so no need for extra BBQ's. (Thank you Dreamworrior and Rays_talena.

"23 trifles or somesuch" Count me in as "My lady" does not like trifle I don't see one very often, let alone 23! Do please count us in. Let us know nearer the date whats missing. One question though; are dogs the canine sort allowed?

Dogs are welcome, it Is a country park after all. Obviously, they would be best kept out of the trifles and encouraged to do their business discreetly.

Damn, I'm missing this one and it's at such a lovely place. Went to the village and had a light late lunch by the lake and it was fantastic. Any chances of this place in September before the weather gets too bad? |
