My hair is not ginger, red, auburn or any other autumnal colour, whilst trying to just be 'brown'. My hair is now black and i love it.
The downside, for now, is that my neck, chin, hands and arms are also black (and splodgy) but this will pass.
Hopefully, and doubly hopefully when on a bus, someone will, hilariously, shout "You a goff?" at me, so i can remember this post and chuckle at my soothsaying abilities.

I dyed my hair black regularly from being about 14 to 20, so I feel your pain with the black hair dye going everywhere. My dad never understood the state of the bathroom afterwards! "Nothing saves anyone's life, Sir. It just postpones their death." - Posner , The History Boys. |

wash your skin with aqueous cream, helps to remove some of the dye. "There are no gains without pains" ~Benjamin Franklin |

I used to have long long black hair and used to drive round west London in summer with the wind in my hair and bhangra music on the car system cutting people up, which you are allowed to do in west London suburbs, it's normal to drive like you're in a dodgem car west of Ealing. I didn't get called a goth but I did get a rather robust "Fucking Paki" one memorable afternoon. Edited 1 Jun 11, 11:54 PM by syndeetoo |
