Well, we started off with the polish neighbour banging on the door at 6.30am because he had water running down his lounge wall and wanted to check the water wasn't coming from my side, only problem was that I'd spent the night locked in my wrist and ankle cuffs.
We then got sorted and went to the Colchester collective Play Party at Vallies In Colchester, OMG what a lovely venue, not massive but not a broom cupboard and for a new venture it is extremely well organised, loads of local parking available in the multi-story car park about 400yards away and located in a quiet part of town and right off the beaten track so no trouble with local-yokels.
Prices at the bar were extremely reasonable and the venue is spotlessly clean and well staffed.
I would highly suggest that if you can make this event that you contact Alex for details of how to join as a member and come along, the fact that it is on a Sunday from noon till 5pm means that you still have a lovely evening to enjoy before you have to get up for that horrible thing called work.
Thanks to all involved for setting this up and we will be back again and again.
