I'm considering leaving the site. No I'm not disgruntled or anything of the sort, I just feel I've got to a place where I'm ready to drop Mistress Ariane. My close friends know it's not my first name. The connections that started it were severed long ago.
I used to know a lot of the people on the forums here, but there are few left and when I make comments, they seldom get responses as people don't know me anymore. That's more about my own absence and lack of time for forums than anything, but people move on.
I've also fallen for someone in a big way, and he's becoming my focus, second only to my writing and filmmaking. He supports that part of me both emotionally and physically, helping me to find resources and stepping out of my required time frames when I must work.
He's not quite as sub as I could wish, yet in some ways he can be very much my knight errant. It feels good and it feels right. And he's only a few years younger than me. I've outgrown the pretty toyboys. I don't mean the ones who are friends, just the sex toys.
Life is good. But I have little time for forums, and this one has lost it's connection for me. If any of my old friends read this, feel free to connect with me on Facebook. I use my author name there.
