my 19 year old muppet of a son should be going to Dublin tomorrow by ferry and has only just realised he lost his passport last year.
Does anyone know if he can still go?

Photo ID (driving licence) will suffice as Ireland is part of the Common Travel Area.

It would also depend on how he is travelling. Ryanair and Easyjet don't accept driving licences. I suspect other airlines will be the same, but it is worth checking. Rohypnol means never having to say "Would you like another coffee?".
