My Stolen Pictures & Profile on Collar Me (16)

Hiya, does anybody have any Idea how to report an entire profile 'not just pics' on Collar Me?

Someone has stolen about half a dozen of my pictures and copied text from my old IC profile practically word for word and rather than report several Individual pictures I would like to report the whole entire profile.

Help would be really appreciated on this one!

i think if you click on 'help' it gives you options about reporting a profile etc., although i've never actually known them to take action tbh.

i've had the words of my profile copied word for word too.. and it was never removed... luckily i'm not good looking enough to have my pictures stolen LOL

perhaps the answer is to be fugly and crap with words and it won't happen! lol

Nothing you can do, If you put pictures up on websites then they become public property and words on a profile are just that also.

One answer is to do as I do, no profile , no pictures and make contacts from networking. of course you will be labelled as a fraud from the 'must have profile and pics' brigade but from my point of view anyone who is uptight about that really isnt going to interest me anyway. If it is important that you display your pictures etc online then you just have to accept people may pinch them.

Something similar happened to me, on CollarMe too - I was an Irish Domme for a while.... she had used several of my photos, but had different wording, obviously!

So I took the photo of myself holding a sign saying stolen photos, clicked on the Stolen Photos link, uploaded the photo, typed in her user name and job done - you don't need to put any justifying text in or anything! By the following evening the entire profile had gone, but I don't know whether that was because she(?) deleted it herself or because the site made her.....

Good luck!

Edited to make it make sense....

Oh well, it seemed like a good idea at the time!

There is some software available that you can 'watermark' your pics.

If you put the watermark across the body of the pic that should stop your pics being stolen and used elsewhere.

There is a fine line between sanity and insanity. I have a foot firmly planted either side of that line :-D

Fucking WHAT?!

I'm sorry, but you are very wrong to say that anything uploaded to the internet becomes 'public property'. Are you trying to say that international copyright law doesn't count on the internet? Just think about how idiotic that statement is and you'll understand why I'm so incensed...

@baby_girl I'm afraid I don't know anything about the collarme site, but maybe you can set up your own profile and let it be known that the other is a lie?

The reporting procedure on CM doesn't seem to cover this issue as I think it's an automated system and you only have limited options. I had a similar problem on there (not photos stolen, but profile text copied by a male sub and used on here too). I'm sure I read on here that if a number of people report a profile on CM, it is automatically removed. Maybe if you have friends on there you could ask them to report it too.

Fly it all out like an eagle in a sunbeam.

Complete bollocks, unless you state somewhere that, “I place these images in the public domain for free use by anyone,” You retain the copyright to any pictures you post, and they do not become public property.

Same thing happened to me on CM, well, pictures at any rate. And the guy claimed to be an inch taller and bisexual, the swine!
