The only thing I know about latex is that, many moons ago, there was a thread on IC discussing play involving cream (as produced by cows). As the wonderful demolitionred was posting on the thread, and knowing her love of latex wear, I felt it appropriate to mention that cream, like any oil-based product, can degrade latex. Well, that's not quite the only thing I know about latex; the gorgeous @angelbrat wore a latex dress at the last Camden Crunch. As she passed me, the scent of the latex was heavenly. Let's put this in perspective. Some subs clean their dom(me)'s boots with their tongues. AFAIK they don't seem to suffer any particular ill effects, even though shoe polish definitely contains unpleasant chemicals. | ||

Hmmmmm, often thought about potential issues with licking boots/shoes etc. It seems just to avoid boot polish.

i believe ( i could be wrong )that amonia is used in the cureing of laytex and that if your licking rubber you will have some residue's injested from that, so i should imagine that a covering of a 'safe' polish would go to help allieviatte that,, i use liquid laytex in some aspect's of my work and i must admit it doe's smell very much like ammonia Please excuse crap spelling cause i,m rubbish | ||
