what the hell happened to me last night?
Master had been training me, teaching me a few new bits and bobs....then we had moved on to some rope and trust work....then it was on to some serious flogging.
That was when things got a little strange. i seemed to be having some problems settling into the flogging session, every stroke hurting so much more than normal. Now Master says some of this was understandible as he was trying out some new strokes on me but on the whole even he couldn't understand why i was reacting the way i was. He stopped for a little while, calmed me then started again. i managed for a little while but then the same reaction took over....weird!
But that's not the worst bit....i remember him stopping the second time and i remember him moving up the bed to lie with me....and that's all i remember!!! The next thing i knew i was waking up a hour or so later feeling totally lost and confused, Master flat out next to me.
i never just fall asleep that easily, believe me. It takes me ages to wind down before sleep, i have to read first.
Any ideas anyone?

It could have been an emotional kind of overload, your brain saying that's enough, you need to sleep now. My reaction to all sorts of stresses is to go to sleep, expecially when I am suffering from anxiety. Just a suggestion J Before any word leaves your mouth it must be approved by the three gatekeepers. The first will ask: "Is it true?" The second will ask: "Is it necessary?" The third will ask: "Is it kind?" Anon

Sometimes you can react more strongly than you think to things you consider "easier". When we do knife play and he does in fact do very little to me, its more a mental thing than anything, but its enough to send me into the deepest body trembles that a serious caning or flogging will do. I seriously doubt I could manage a heavy flogging after knife play with Colbeh. As Jez says maybe it was overload. Whatever the case your body was saying enough is enough. There are times too when my body seems less able to cope with pain for no apparent reason. That can be down to any number of things like, tiredness, stress levels, emotional balance etc etc. It chops and changes all the time. Normally when I'm seriously stressed I actually want pain play and find it a fabulous way to sort my body and head out. We're all different and within that we change everyday too. Regards alex xx

After a good play session I fall fast asleep. When I wake up I find that Stu has cleaned the house thoroughly. Very odd.
No need to worry about falling asleep though.

Hi I think your master should have seen that you were struggling with it. And it's completely natural to want to sleep afterwards. Sometimes the body reacts differently, whatever the mind/heart want. |
