What form your pet comes in, (talking non human variety here).

One thing is for sure. They are all scared stiff of the trauma that is the hoover! Mine being a grey/green Dyson type demon.

It is like showing a Vampire a cross.

Had to have a little giggle. Think she has forgiven me now.:)

(No pets of any variety were harmed or permanently traumatised whilst the domestic duties took their course).:)

I can actually vaccuum one of mine (with the nozzle, not the big beaty brushes!) which is just as well as she moults 24/7/365. The new dog has just come off a travellers site and I doubt has ever seen such a scary thing in her life, bless her.

Have to say @Rosie, our Staffy, regards the Dyson with an air of disdain, acquiescing to move aside so that we can clean the carpet where she is sitting. She moves a bit quicker when I wave the hose at her, but has the expression of being insulted rather than alarmed :-)

My border terrier tries to attack the Dyson and will actually bite it if I don't shoo him away. I've not worked out yet whether he's playing or serious. The cats just run and hide. The fish however, seem to pay it no mind :-D

I'm the one your mother warned you about

We had a dog who would let us hoover him with the pipe. He was totally blase about the hoover, scared of everything else, including his own farts if they made a noise, just not the hoover.

I'm afraid I've just sprayed my newly-acquired cats with the hosepipe. I'm evil, I am :-D

Must be something to do with being a dog called Rosie, as ours simply ignores vacuum, lawn mower,....but thunder, oh lets not go there........!!

My two 8 stone American bulldogs run and hide when the dyson comes out. They don't like it at all.
