The workshop details are as follows: 1pm - preparing for suspension by @Cosmic1 - a workshop about the skills and physics you need to know to successfully and comfortably suspend people. The workshop is aimed at advanced rope users and will not be of value to novices. 2:30pm - rope and knives by @Moonlightshadow - a workshop about incorporating knife play into your rope repertoire for both sensation and fear. The workshop is aimed at intermediate rope users to gett he most out of the class. 4pm - drop in Dojo opens to all, a chance to come along and enjoy an amazingly unique play space with a panoramic vista of central London. Weather permitting one of the suspension frames will be located on the patio overlooking the Thames. This session is open to all rope practitioners regardless of experience. The workshops are priced at £10 per person and include the drop in Dojo for free. Entrance to the Dojo on its own is only £5. Tickets can be purchased in advance via the LAM LFW special on the Saturday or via the LFW website. Its going to be a fun and original day and location. David

Sounds really good and a great location. I'm pretty novice as far as rope is concerned so as long as I won't be too out of my depth I'd love to go

Hi, If you are new to rope you are more likely to get something out of the second workshop and the drop in dojo. The agenda for the first workshop is strictly advanced users only. It's an amazing venue to get though and if people enjoy it there may be a chance to do something on a regular basis. The second workshop sounds like fun, might come along for that. Or maybe just pop along for lunch and meeting up with people - is that OK?

You can pick and mix on the workshops and the drop in dojo is free if you attend either. We have the upper floors and rooms for the workshops but food will be in the dinning rooms away from the rope action. Hoping the weather holds so we can have an outdoor frame. It should be even more chilled than last years day at 242 just accross the road. David London Alternative Market - the place to be on the first Sunday of the month
