If you're vanilla and the husband of humble origins says we will name the child [ add some dreadful name] and the wife says - no way Hose, it shall be X and it is X. If you're sub AND you have married someone totally different then you're going to come down to his level on just about every aspect of your life unless he's very emotionally intelligent and conscious of the differences between you. If you marry within your own group it will be a given that you wil be paying school fees for children or they will be at the local comp etc etc etc. It just makes life easier which is why most matchmakers world wide and most web sites help match people who have enough similarities.
Even just sticking with that choice of school if the dom on political grounds is against school fees and you strongly believe in private education you really would have to get that all agreed before you handed over your submission otherwise life could be pretty hard.

I kind of agree with you. My children from a previous marriage were already named; nice names too.
However, I never had a problem with local comps as long as they had a good reputation, but my husband (husband since last Nov.. ), insisted that my youngest daughter go to private school; he went to private school. I am glad that I came round to the idea as she is doing incredibly well and better than she would have at the local comps around the area we relocated to. (the school fees are fairly reasonable too) Nice things come in small packages...but so does poison!

I'm planning to marry down i intended to marry a man with a silver spoon in his gob but a turd is a turd from which ever crapper you sit on.

So if opaid off to marry up.
The difficulty if you're already realitively off, chidlren in those schools, paying your own fees and a bit posh yourself is if you follow that model - women marry up there are fewer men. If I wanted a council estate pool boy type particularly if wanted a kept sub man it would be dead easy.

I know lots of different people. I find it hard to find men who speak in a way I don't, who do things we try so hard to ensuree the chidlren avoid like dropping Ts and all that stuff, attractive. That does not mean I don't try. I do and all relationships involve compromise but if the sub marries up to someone who may be earns more or has a better accent etc and she looks up to him theni t seems to work. How many women marry men who have a worse accent, lower class, lower income and are worse than they are in most ways of that kind? It's not many. i am a rare example of egalitarian in that regard (although did it pay off - it cost me a fortune on divorce - any other woman on h ere pay her husband loads on a divorec? No because they married up)
