Help please. Ideally I would like as many opinions as possible on this.

I have had to have my hair cut short :-( because it is breaking off (not good when I love to have my hair pulled lol), possibly due to the use of hair colourants. Should I just stop dyeing it and go grey?

Honestly, would you find a grey haired woman more of a turn off? As my hair is naturally curly would I look like I had just come out of a salon after a shampoo and set -eek! I really don't know what to do.

Thanking you in advance.

Have you discussed it at all with your hairdresser? he/she knows your hair and ought to have some good suggestions.

My hair is babyfine so my hairdresser recommended that I use a "vegetable gloss" on it rather than any hair colour - maybe something like that might be an option. Also, if your hair has been damaged by colourants, you need to think about what will protect and nourish your hair best.. again, your hairdresser should have some advice!

Also, the key is a good cut, irrespective of the colour - you said it has been cut short, the key though is that it has been shaped to work *with* the curliness in your hair

As for grey hair... all I can say is Helen Mirren... have yet to hear anyone think she isn't sexy because she has grey hair!!

Henna or vegetable dyes are options. You didn't say what colour you've been using. If you've been lightening with peroxide, that's very harsh on hair.

Give yourself a conditioning phase and let your hair heal. Then try something more gentle.

I think if you have the right face short hair is lovely,It brings out the beauty of a person.Grey can be a great look too depending on the person.

I am having exactly the same problem, too much purple it seems.

My hairdresser suggests a sharper cut, not much shorter, I am using a serum based liquid to put in leave 5/10 mins then rinse out gently. after one of my weekly washes, she also suggested, a semi permanent, when hair settles down.

My hair goes all salt and pepper, if only it went real grey all over no problem.

Serums seem the way to go at the moment, but please get a good one and do a 24hr check first.

Good luck I hope it settles down.

Discussion with my slave "I do not want your eyebrows, maybe your soul" her reply, "oops cunt spasmn," I thank you.

Personally I have no problem at all with grey haired women, Domme or sub ... but then I've always had a slight preference for more mature women ;-).

Having said that, a close friend (mid forties) has been trying to leave her hair natural grey after years of dyeing it, and despite being a strong, confident individual, has found it very challenging. There has almost been a campaign amongst her work colleagues to persuade her back to colouring it. It seems there is a definite prejudice in some quarters against middle aged greyness ...

In the end, it's all about how you feel in your own skin (and hair). Do what makes you feel most comfortable.

Peace and love

Shave it off, invest in some great wigs and glue and be whatever colour you wish to be, whenever you want!

Nothing like being an individual, which you certainly are!

No one quite like you!!!!

I'm probably about 30% grey now. I use a semi permanent dye (loved Movida but it's a bugger to find) for two reasons. It's less harsh and, as it fades, you don't get that hard edge of regrowth, it blends in together much more.

You're too colorful a person to go grey ... Dye it in a deep rich color of sorts , just like your personality :-).

But in all honesty your attitude and personality would still shine through no matter what you decide to do .

The most tangible intangible ........ We all have it ........ Treat it with care !!

I think you must be lying about your age! no way do you look 70 - and I am not just saying that for brownie points.
