I am going to come clean, I rather enjoyed being sent to B&Q to buy loads of lengths of different rope and attachy things and other assorted paraphernalia and when the young chap behind the counter asked me 'what are you going to do with this lot then?' (yes, really) I just winked at him and said 'wouldn't you like to know'
I felt so very wicked, it was wonderful so, who buys it? Who cares? As long as you both enjoy using it and can afford it. Where is the wisdom we have lost in knowledge, where is the knowledge we have lost in information? T S Eliot

Exactly, if you enjoy it then buy it. I haven't bought a pair of heels in years. I have tried, but I find it awfully dull without a panting gentleman with a buldge in his trousers as I slip on a new pair of shoes in a shop. I wonder if anyone ever notices? However I do like buying some items to use and the thrill of doing it...it adds an element of suprise and imagination. But frankly, you can't beat the presenting of a beautiful new sound. Apart from using it of course... Lpx

Because we don't trust the dimly, sorry domly ones to but the right stuff? I mean, what do they know about what feels good? The fact that we live at the bottom of a deep gravity well, on the surface of a gas covered planet going, at 66,000 miles an hour, around a nuclear fireball 90 million miles away and think this to be normal is obviously some indication of how skewed our perspective tends to be.

Because it presses your buttons. The question is why do
I buy really surely? So, you either like being told to, or you like the potential of what you're buying will bring (or you believe so), or you simply like buying! Possibly all three. It's not functional per se, you don't " need" it. (Some would argue you're even a victim here too, which is interesting as Dom/mrs buy, so are also consequently victims Perception (does the item look good?); your needs (do I really need or want the item?); learning (what do I already know about this product?); beliefs (what do I believe about/what is my attitude towards this item?) and lifestyle (is the item acceptable for my lifestyle, and does it appeal to my interests?) you're also fooled into buying it with consumer marketing led by placement, sales technique, smell and visual stimulation and hey we like the latter two quite a lot! http://www.marcbowles.com/courses/adv_dip/module...
That's why you buy lol Debs x "Woman in her greatest perfection was made to serve and obey man." John Knox
