Once upon a time, not a soul would show their face among their images; I'm going back a week or two.
Now, lots of you brave soldiers do indeed display a facial image. Showing your face speaks volumes about the type of person you are and the degree to which you are out and proud. I still need to work so remain fairly anonymous. (I even go as far as to say that I prefer people who don't have a facial image on display). I'm not so keen to see a full frontal (of guys)either, but a classy, artistic, intriguing shot hits the spot as far as I'm concerned. Do you have an opinion? Heads or Tails - or something else? I like pic's that are relevant - can't be doing with pic's of cats, cars, planes, trains and toys but that's just me. x If the above post upsets you please contact xAdamx He will punish me even if you are an idiot and I am trying to put you straight. Please note I will enjoy said punishment.

I had a full face picture of myself for a long time, it was however pointed out to me that these can be downloaded by others and used in ID theft and other scams. I took the decision to remove that picture and replace with less clear pictures. I always offer a full face picture to anybody who i contact or who contacts me and hope that will demonstrate i am genuine and also have some common sense. As for what matters, unless a person has a fixed image of what they seek and only requires that fantasy then anybody who seeks a true Mistress, Master, sub or slave will look for personality in their introduction and make judgement on that and worry about how they look second. I think! When the rich wage war it's the poor who die.

No it doesn't. All it indicates is whether you are showing your face or not. There is nothing on IC to indicate whether the pic is really of the person who claims it is. There are plenty of reasons for out people to not show a face picture: 1) They can't be arsed. 2) They don't like seeing themselves. 3) They have a sense of personal privacy and don't wish to have their every move tracked by Facebook, facial recognition or Twatter. Rohypnol means never having to say "Would you like another coffee?".

Would the "something else" in the thread title be a H2T transfacial coin? And let's not forget those rarer coins going the other way, the T2Hs

We're saying the same thing, sort of. You are just giving reasons why people don't show their face - all valid and would have been included had I included any, but that isn't the point of the post. I stand by what I say though, those who are brave enough to show their face are far too OUT for me. It tells me they don't care who can marry together their image and therefore their identity, their likes, their opinions in posts, and that is far too brave or dangerous for my liking.

Thanks for the baseless judgement, always good. It might also show you that they don't live in a world of paranoia, and hang out with people intelligent enough to understand that how I choose to conduct my relationships does not define my worth either as a family member, friend or employee. I don't make judgements about those who don't post a pic. I can understand there are many reasons not to. But I also don't make judgements about those who do, either. I'd recommend it.

I have a shot of myself but not as my page image as I want people to look at me and think. Plus photos of me are rare as I am nye on always the one taking the photos. Know matter where the light may be the darkness always awaits it.

I'm quite happy to have a picture of me on my profile, it may not be an actual photograph but it is an exact likeness of me. Although I don't go to work every day wearing a purple toga and a tiara.

What littlenic said! Thanks a chuffing bunch for that sweeping comment from the OP. As an event organiser I find it useful to have my ugly mug on display prior to events so folk have a vague idea who to look out for. I don't see myself as being "so out there" or think those without face shots are beneath me - quite far from it. I respect that not everyone is at liberty to have mugshots on display. Doesn't mean anything more than that to me. You seek to fill me Edited 2 May 11, 10:45 AM by MissAnnThropist

Congratulations, sincerely, at being so open you can be yourself at all time. Well done at allowing colleagues and family and friends to make up their mind about you by reading what you write, reading your likes, dislikes etc without the option to discuss items they may find disgusting or disturbing.
My work takes me to environments, countries and communities that would be appalled at my private life.
I prefer to answer the questions of those I come out to there and then.
Judgemental? Yes, guess I am. Groundless? matter of opinion
