Apparently they do not allow men at the parties. I've often wanted to be dressed in their feminine costumes by women at a party of theirs. Edited Fri 29 Apr 11, 5:01 PM by fetboyslim

Some do ... I have a male friend who was allowed to attend, try on and model lots of their clothing! I guess it is at the discretion of the host and party planner. Nil Carborundum Illegitimo

Then again, it's quite possible that could generate aggro from the Equality nazis. They might turn up with hors d'ouvres - vhich must be obeyed, vizhout qvestion... Holmes: Meretricious

I was invited to a few, years ago when they were quite a new thing. This was before I was 'out' as a Transsexual, and I attended them 'as a man', since that's what everyone thought I was. It happened more or less by accident. I knocked on a friend's door, and was invited in, to find myself at an Ann Summers party. It was very good fun, but maybe not quite in the way you imagine. Nobody dressed me up in anything, and there were no costumes, although perhaps there would be these days. There was never an explicit sex act, much less an orgy, although there was a lot of tomfoolery involving the small range of sex-toys, accompanied by a healthy dose of ribald hilarity. I was invited to four or five parties, even though I never bought anything. The same guests attended each of them. They were good fun. There was a 'rule' even then, barring men, but it just wasn't applied to me.

In my experience, most of the women attending Ann Summers parties are pretty vanilla and will be unlikely to want to dress you up anyway.
Compared to what kinky folk get up to in clubs etc, the parties are pretty tame, although generally are extremely funny if alcohol is involved, including waking up in the morning and thinking 'Why on earth did I buy THAT??'. Edited 29 Apr 11, 6:15 PM by FrostyFingers

I've hosted a few in the past few years and it is technically company policy because otherwise it can turn into an orgy style evening which obviously is completely different and complicates everything! If this is a fantasy of yours why not set up a situation that isn't necessarily Ann Summers- a private party just for you!

I think the rule was not applied to you, as they worked out what you were. Some girls have a good trans as well as gaydar radar. http://empressm7.uboot.com/ http://www.socialkink.com/empressmartine Vampire, pro/lifestyle ts dom/switch.Ageplay mummy/aunty/AB,medical play, domestic, energy, outdoor specialist."Awsome! Maybe. I don't think anyone there had exactly thought it though. The hostess of those parties was "Completely gob-smacked.." (to quote her), when I told her that I'm TS. She tells me that the astonishment returns each time she thinks about it, even now, years later. I do know exactly what you mean though. Women tend to relax around me because of how it feels to be in my company, rather than how I look, possibly. Conversely, I may have been accepted in male company, since I looked male, and could make the right noises, but I've often felt very much like a spy with a perfect disguise..

There are quite a few situations that are not enhanced by sexual tension. Ironically, many of these are to do with sexuality. As a man I intuitively know only about 5% of us would flawlessly navigate that situation, 90% would probably be able to control themselves but would make it awkward (who wants to be in a room with people 'controlling' themselves?) and another 5% would do something stupid. Given the fact you'd clearly get off on one of these parties, I'd put you in the 5% who'd do something stupid. Take your erection somwhere else good sir! Let these women buy their dildos in peace. Exactly this! (Except that personally I saw nothing at the parties that I wanted to buy, regardless of the alcohol inside me. I have bought one or two things from Ann Summers shops over the years though..) |
