I'm hopin to start up my own little site soon on a well known clip hosting site but I'm unsure as to what equipment to use. I wonder if anyone here can recommend a suitable camcorder, prefably one that's not too expensive! In case your wondering the theme of the site will be bondage, with an underlying plot of various superheroines/secret agents being captured and placed in peril!
Also the clips will be posted in WMV format so will I have to go for a certain camcorder to achieve this?
Forgive me if its a dumb question - I'm a bit of a luddite when it comes to these things!!!

WMV is easy and if you have Windows, Windows Movie Maker should be on your computer already and exports in WMV. Assuming this is YouTube sized screen, you don't need an expensive camera. A tourist model will suffice. Don't let the salesman give you a load of pitch about HD, it's irrelevant at that resolution. |
