I was merely expressing an alternate view, playing devil's advocate. I did not state that it was my own personal view. Not everyone is able to be brave. You make assumptions about me when you do not know me. I am not afraid to stand up and be counted and have done so in life on more than one occassion. Chris

Fair enough. I have failed to stand up to my requirements of my self on occasion, but I do try.
Pray consider: when you 'play' the devil's advocate and you don't say that's what you are doing, if you do it well, you will be mistaken for... well, you work it out. Stuck in the maelstrom...

I have to point out that the 'staff' of these large companies are actively discouraged from stepping in,as they are putting themselves at risk.I personally have witnessed an attack within a store environment and I did step in rightly or wrongly I put myself in harms way luckily the person didn't turn on me.But I was quite disgusted by my manager's attitude towards me stepping in.I'd like to think I would intervene any other time, but these are scary situations which can easily escalate! When there's no more room in hell, the waggle will walk the earth.

No worries, the written word lacks the depth that the spoken word carries and without seeing the face and body language of the speaker it is all 2 dimensional. Chris

You can understand the staff not getting involved if that is McDs policy . What is wrong is the way they are encouraging it and laughing . Luckily the video taken of the offence has got into the right hands now and hopefully they will be charged and jailed for the offence. Sticks and stones may break your bones, But whips and chains excite me. |
