..or be anywhere, with anyone, what would you choose?

I asked my kid in the park while he was sitting looking morose and then after I thought about my own question.

I would be on a beautiful island, sorrounded by crystal clear sea, with snow capped mountains towering behind me.

Everyone I love and many that I have loved would be there.

We would all be sitting in the sun with a gentle breeze blowing, eating the most amazing foods, bought to us by polite and respectful toga clad slaves with perfect oiled bodies.

As dusk fell, we would light an enormous bonfire and dance and sing and play around it as a build up to the most awesome orgy ever.

World peace? Meet Gandhi? Pahh. Although it is probably somewhere down the list. Maybe it is just where my mind is at today :-D

With friends, in the Alps, skiing, with blue skies, warm sun, light breeze, fresh crisp snow, slightly out of breath and about to collapse on the terrace of a ski hut, to put more sun cream on and have a late lunch with cheese and potatoes, followed by hot chocolate.

The fact that I am on crutches and this physically can't happen until at least next year is irrelevant :)

With my sister, on the side of a mountain, close to a waterfall in her favourite place in The highlands, watching the sheep grazing, sharing a bottle of wine and telling her my woes.

Or

On the back of a motorbike driven by Jon Bon Jovi dressed in Stig leathers and helmet broken down on a country lane in the heaviest summer rain ever ..... I'll let you fill in the blanks on that one ;)

I just got back from a lovely day out at London Zoo. I couldn't have chosen anywhere better to be, because I've had a smashing day.

With whom... well, there's a few people I would have liked to have shared it with, but being there with just me was fine too.

:-)

I'm not bothered where but I'd be re-united with my Mum and Dad. I'd love my sons to be able to meet their Grandad. And I'd like my man to 'meet the parents'
