Pony Play (55)

From what I have seen of the pony play "community", my answer would be that you would be made very welcome. I don't think anyone would expect you to invest in equipment before you had tried it out and knew that it was for you.

That is true of all the events I know of, the only minor proviso I'd make is that it helps to let them know you're coming, what you'll need, then ***** well turn up!

It does get irritating when you make a special effort to have the kit made/fixed/borrowed for newbies, then they decide not to turn up for apparently trivial reasons ...

I find it intriguing and excting if the truth be known. Control from the Riding Mistress and self-control from the submissive. Self discipline and discipline along with looks like a very special bond between the Mistress and Her animal. Many different facets.

For me, it is absolute heaven. It is a unique submission: in the pony, there is passion and spirit, a desire to use strength and just let go into it. It's balanced by grace and elegance, but there's no desire to please in the pony, nor sense of right or wrong. The pony just unleashes all, and it's up to the pony master to control and tame it, to harness it in the right direction. Any failings are the pony master's, the pony will never be contrite. Whipped to excitement, to greater efforts, yes, remorseful, no.

It's so pure. There's no language to get in the way: in the unleashing of primal senses, language is a huge burden, requiring thoughtful decision making and action. The human has to, the pony gets a break from it and can retreat to the primal soul. In my case, there's no vision either, another huge burden of sentience, to continually scan and assess the environment. I work blindfold, so both pony and master know the master is in complete control. No language, no vision, no psychological behaviour boundary, just a purely physical control.

That sounds very thought-out,, but for me, it's not. Once the tack starts to go on, I simply zone out of language, thought and decision making. Pony drivers have found to their (our... ) cost that once I've hit pony space, there's absolutely no point using directions that haven't been trained. 'Left' and 'Right' aren't good for me at the best of times, I was one of those kids who needed it writing on my shoes! But my pony master saying something like 'Stop, dear, you're about to fall into the ditch' just doesn't work, while a good tug on the reins does.

Pony space is beautiful.

You don't put ponies in subs - and even if you did they'd go underwater rather than in space. Silly idea ...
