I never knew that there was such a thing as pro subbing. I am curious about the logistics, how do the subs maintain there safety? As a sub, I'm nervous as it is about the skill of the mistresses with respect to safety. One thinh which gives some confidence is that the mistresses are pros, and have had a lot of experience. If the Dom clients are not pros, how is safety ensured by the pro-subs? It only takes one idiot person to do harm... | |

Hence so few of us doing the job. There's around 100 pro spankees in the UK and about a dozen pro subs who offer BDSM. Apart from the danger of being tied up with a strange bloke by yourself there is the issue of the majority of our clients are either new doms or haven't had much practise as they don't have their own sub. It's great to get a more experienced dom who is between subs and not to have to try and give instructions or tell Sir as politely as possible in keeping with the scene that he's doing it all wrong lol! 'May I please suggest Sir that if you did it this way it would have a lot more effect.'! I won't let a new client gag me so I can tell them that it's not wise to tie my up by my collar etc The most common injuries are wrap round, but there was a guy who had me tied by my wrists with my arms spread out onto the hoist on tip toe then pressed the up button at the end of the session instead of the down one almost dislocating my shoulder and I was in agony for a week. Yes the buttons do have up and down arrows on them! Playing with new doms has a really high fear factor at times which can always add to a scene but sometimes can be a bit scary which either way can usually work for me. I am a pro “spankee” as Tara puts it and as such the main danger is inexperienced clients using straps and canes on me, wraparound, high & low strokes etc. and in some cases drawing blood, but that goes with the job & I have to except that. I do let clients secure me over my punishment bench or on my suspension hoist, BUT I do have a get out, they are fitted with what I call “Houdini” clips that when they are under pressure one press of my thumb on the release button and they spring open. To date I have never had to use them but it is a safety option, I must say that 99% of my Dom clients are real gentlemen and although they get pleasure from beating me they do consider my safety and in most cases actually ask me if the level of pain they are inflicting on me is acceptable.(it always is) In all the years I have been doing this I never felt threatened or in danger in all. But there is a first time for everything!! | |

Though I work primarily as an escort now, when I was pro subbing I had a few close calls, mainly down to inexperience on the part of the client. I worked alone and without back up so had to make quick and accurate judgements. I always asked a lot of questions especially if a client wanted to use singletails or crops on me and never allowed the client to restrain or blindfold me on a first visit.
Aside from sadists and yes, I had a few, the main dangers are inexperience and the fact that although you have limits, the client also has his. There are no guarrantees that he will play only to yours.. Reb I am not a 'beanpole with tits' I'm an hourglass with not enough sand.... | |

I have been working as a pro sub for over a year now and although not getting as much work as would like(mainly down to being transgendered)I haven't had much in the way of problems with clients and when they turn up most seem very genuine and we always have a chat about rules and what they can and can't do to me. Although I don't have my own dungeon I have use of one and a schoolroom and for my safety when I meet a new client for the first time there is always someone in the building for my protection. I did a two hour bondage session one day and I had to be blindfolded for the entire session. The client paid the guy who stays in the building on the way in and I was as instructed to be blindfolded in the dungeon. It was a fab session and my client wasn't allowed to leave before my security made sure I was OK. I never saw the client the whole time but everything was fine. Being a pro sub does put you at quite a risk and as I partake in bondage and do out calls again I have to be extra careful. I ring a friend when I arrive at a clients house with the address and again when I leave and if I don't ring before I leave there's a problem(not had one yet)I let the client know I'm doing this too and I don't let clients tie me up on an out call the first time either. I've had a few moments though and had to stop two clients from visiting me as all they really wanted was to shag me when tied up(neither got that far but their intentions were clear)and a couple of times canings have been harder than I expected after being tied and gagged. Most of the guy's who have seen me are older and not much of a concern if they did get carried away in a session as I can handle myself pretty well if need be having done several years of martial art training(not a lot of use when tied up though) but I do feel for the real girls who pro sub for a living although the ones I've met really seem to know what they're doing.
