Try a Turian/Eternity style collar for sleeping in. The are usually worn loose enough for your Master to easily grab with his entire fist inside so it should not constrict your neck. If you want to see a pick of one check out my girl @Blackheart_K 's profile pic.

Mine has a all metal stainless steel collar locked with an allan key from eternity collars. Fortunately for her it fits and has another clearence room between throat and metal, just enough for me to put 2 fingers through should I need to..she sleeps, eats, bathes, wears it to work and it only comes off for the oil of hinge and a change of colour coating. If yours needs to made looser it's the wrong size..have your neck measured and go for steel...He will love it and so will you. I am the reason cut throat razor's have been banned.

I have read this thread with great interest as this is something that I have really struggled with. I can't wear anything around my neck at night - it is just so uncomfortable. It makes me feel irritable and means that I cannot sleep at all. I have also woken up with a panic attack when wearing one in bed. I can't even wear a necklace as I yank on it in my sleep and when I wake up, there's red lines all round my neck as though someone has tried to murder me in my sleep! Yes I clearly have issues. The Mistress has me wear a leather studded dog collar which is padlocked. Usually She'll remove it but sometimes She doesn't. I've never had any problems whatsoever sleeping in it..

Me too - it took me a long time to get used to it. Eventually just loosening the collar until I could sleep, and then gradually tightening it over the next few weeks did the trick.

It's so lovely to hear that you have managed to resolve this, you may find that, over time, as you get used to it you can start to tighten it hole by hole, see how it goes and take it at your own pace. So very happy for you and well done for your perseverance. -x-

My boy's the same. Steel with an allen key and never takes it of, sleeps in it no problem. We did remove it once for a scan in hospital and he found it very odd - so you get to a point where it's the other way round, you feel uncomfortable without, rather then with it.
