I think this is a pretty fair judgement. The 'sin' was about recruiting the 'stud' among one of his clients. http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/manitoba/story/201... Edited Tue 29 Mar 11, 5:09 PM by EtaCarinae

I'm sure some Dominants are great at making sandwiches but I wouldn't expect to see a link about dodgy sandwich making in BDSM Activism. eta to add a n't

That aside, I agree that it seemed like a reasonable judgement. Everythings going to be ok, as long as I have enough beers:

It appears King was his wife's dominant. He had posted pictures of her nude in bondage on a porn site (not a problem until it becomes a problem), he obsessed about the idea that she get fucked by a black guy without say (as he is now admitting, and who knows if it's true, but he's taking all the blame). For that to happen he pressurised a good looking black client, who was their stud, who turned around to bribe them for compensation, I understand, so he got 25 000$ cash to shut up but the stud still went after King for millions in Court. The 'dom' happens to be a lawyer, the wife a judge.

And how is it even relevant to the UK? Rohypnol means never having to say "Would you like another coffee?".

Does the Country have any relevance? It is a BDSM Activism board and it doesn't say that it is exclusive to the UK. We are a community that spans lots of countries so this Lady had the right to post this. Many laws may come into play when somebody is defending their case so IMHO it's good to see alternative perspectives. Everythings going to be ok, as long as I have enough beers:

Manitoba is a common law jurisdiction...? I don't see why there needs to be a link to the UK, it's a story that some of us find interesting, and thank you @Intemporelle for sharing it.

Wasn't this story posted on IC by someone some months ago? and the same questions were raised then about relevance! There's a somebody i'm longing to see, i hope that he turns out to be, someone to watch over me |
