Good evening everyone,
I hope this is an appropriate place to post this, I am more a forum watcher and reader than participator My reason for posting is a little project that I am undertaking. Over the last few days I have been working on the site itself and it is to a point where it could go live but before going any further with it I would like to gain some feedback on the idea. The website would be a directory of slaves / submissives in the UK who have particularly useful skills ranging from building trades to web design, domestic servitude to photography and pampering. The submissives can be searched for based on their skills, their location and alternatively Dominants who are seeking for a slave with a particular skill set for service can be found by submissives. That is a brief overview of the site. There are no forums, blogs, bios etc it will be clean simple and straight forward. Each person has a profile listing their, city, and skills or the skills they are looking for in a potential submissive. It could be for long term service or for a temporary duration. The other thing I want to point out is that the site will be completely free to everyone who uses it. I am not doing this to make money and there will not be flashing banners everywhere. The other idea behind the site is so that these genuine slaves who are able and desirous to serve can get noticed without the battle of being lost in the sheer number of male submissives who just want a Domme. The test site we put together works and can achieve what we want so now I am looking for thoughts and feedback on the idea before taking the next step as it will be you, the community that would use it. With a correct degree of management to stop it becoming another simple sub seeking Mistress site, and keep it based on someone having something genuine to offer to someone who has a need then its an excellant idea. Would need to find a way to deter it from becoming populated by those who only have an online fantasy. Sorry if that sounds like some degree of censorship but the cold hard fact is that there are a lot out there who love the chat about providing a service but then no show or dont follow through from the fantasy to reality. I would certainly be very excited about the prospect of what you suggest though., | |

Just wanted to say what a great idea! Most certainly a need for what you are proposing and I for one will be using it as and when it is up and running. The obvious challenge as already stated is to ensure that both both parties involved are genuine and interested in a fair and satisfying exchange of what is sought/offered. When approached by subs who wish to serve , my first port of call is to look at networks, posts and length of time on IC. If I can find a shared network and a recommendation from a fellow ICer then all the better. And if I was on the sub side, I would be doing the same for any dommes I approached. Is the notion of a recommendation/vetting system impractical? Good luck and if I can help with any research/testing of the prototype, I'd be happy to help.
