I awoke this morning to find that there were four old women sellotaped to my sitting-room wall. Over the fireplace.
I was a little confused by this - what with their constant screeching about "Lambs! Laaaaaaambs!!!" and extraordinarily long fingernails. But then I noticed that my lovely white wool carpet had been sneakily replaced with a milky fluid overnight and the old women were merely a distraction to give the carpet-thieves an extra few moments to escape.
Swines.
Over the course of the day, however, I've come to rather enjoy the screeching - and the milk has begun to warm and curdle slightly, which feels kinda funny between my toes.
So it's not been all bad really. One just has to learn to look on the bright side of these things.
