This thread is a continuation of "Do looks honestly matter? V - strange attractions", and "Looks mattering: a meta matter"

This post is on the Other BDSM web board.

Us fatties don't bother? Don't be so ridiculous! I can spend hours getting ready.

I went on holiday with a skinny friend once. I was worried I would look fat beside her on the beach. She was worried she would look flat-chested beside me on the beach. Think that says a lot!

I'm bald which is far worse than being fuller figured.

There's nothing wrong with either.

The only difference between fatties and thinnies is fatties are less likely to bother even trying, which is a shame.

Bother trying what?

Making it work. You know, "shaking your thang". Making an effort to look ok. Wash your hair. Get it cut. Apply a bit of make up. Wear clothes that flatter your figure. Don't wear flowery bags.

Confidence and a bit of effort go a long way.

Ahhhh, right. So fatties don't bother trying to look nice? Because their fat, so what's the point? Hmmm. Wonder if that's what he meant?

No, I don't think he did, not in the context of the rest of the post.

I think he said to wrap your personality up in something shiny and appealing ;-) Fetgear, maybe? <grins>

I might try tin foil.

Where were we?

Oh yeah.

We established that 98% of women marry rich men, who presumably are polygamists, just to make the numbers work.

Also, no-one likes a fatty, but that's okay because they can just marry some bloke with his face hanging off from an explosion.

Anything else?

Probably true. Best to be happy with oneself not just because confidence and self esteem is attractive, but because you can't count on others to make you happy and feel good (though that would be a very worthy icing on the cake). Just be a well baked cake in the first instance!

I was only a dolite for 3 weeks, do I still have a shot at my own hunchback, or should I get in line with the other fatties?

I'm not antisocial, I just dont like you.
Somewhere, I'm not a scatterbrain.
