Got the info from a local fanzine called "The Ocelot" and thought i'd share. The Oakford social club use to have an arts fayre and burlesque do's, also heard there is a Magic theatre type event down at the old jazz club venue. But other than that i dont know. Get a Reading Munch get together for the next vintage fayre, you cant go wrong in that?. regards, michelle xx |

If it's anything like the one they have in Hammersmith Town hall once a month, it's mostly women's clothing from pre-1920's to 1990's, handbags, jewellery, scarfs, shoes, etc. I've bought most of my 'fetish' clubwear there. Usually great for picking up full petticoats, or leather. Great for nick-nacks and accessories. Some of the stuff can be truly expensive but there are bargains - got a pair of worn-once manolo blahnik boots. There was an amazing Jean Paul Gaultier leather bondage corset but they wanted £300 for it, and it had been pretty worn-in so I passed.... kitten is in a coma so rose_in_chains is licking her wounds... all 'nilla for a while... But, as the song lyric goes, vanilla is the finest of the flavours... |

Cant see it being that big. There are a couple of retro type shops in Reading so they should have something there. Details at the top, The turtle is on Gun St facing St Marys Butt Church graveside. Did a couple of Vintage fairs at Battasea Arts Centre, once i did both Vintage fair and Lam at the Grand, dressed up too. recommend them |

Never went but it is a monthly thing. Recommend the Oakford Social Pub facing the Heathrow railair link bus at the Station. Has an Art Vintage fayre on a Sunday plus good food/vibe and music. regards, michelle |
