I Must Slow Down (9)

I've been in my job now since time began, well it feels like it anyway, and I can do my job very quickly when I put my mind to it.

There have been occasions when I've done my work and other peoples, even if they ask me to do no more because they need some work to keep them going during the day.

Needless to say, the same as everyone else, I do get bored on occasions and so I've been surfing the Net more than I should - luckily though I've been warned by a colleague.

Must admit I was being a bit dense when he mentioned it but the conversation was something like this and he said to me "the boss has been asking about your Water sports activities" I replied that I wasn't into "water sports - I don't do Piss Play." He then continued "No your SURFING Habits" I still hadn't caught on, so said I don't Surf I can't Swim - sadly though that's not what he meant.

It would appear someone in my office (not my unit) have noticed my Internet usage and brought it to the attention of my line manager - yes I am being good now, even if I am bored shitless.

Thanks for your response, yes I am aware that our IT people can monitor and report people for excessive internet use - we have been warned on our Intranet, sometimes though you just forget .
