Not the nicest thing to go through but if you follow all the fine advice given re after care you'll be fine. I will add that drinking as much water as you can afterwards may also help. Try to stay as relaxed as you can not easy to do I know but that will make the procedure so much easier to cope with.
Good luck and hope all goes well for you Live your life in such a way that when

Good luck and I am sure you will be fine. I had one when I was 6 after my brother died from meningitis. From what I remember it was uncomfortable but not horrendous - I don't have horrid dreams or flashbacks from it so it must have been fine. The people performing these procedures understand how crappy they are and are really supportive and helpful. Best wishes, Emmie So many shoes, so little time .......... |

Good luck with it, I had mine last January and it was painful, but not unbearably so. My main problem is that I have a slight allergy against the local anaesthetic so I was battling with the phsiological problems I was getting from that rather than the pocedure. The main problem I had was that they kept telling me to curl up tighter bless them, and I was thinking I can't curl anymore have you seen this tummy I have in front of me!!!!!
It must depend on where you go as I only had to lay flat for less than an hour then went home and had to just relax and do nothingk strenuous. Just relax during it, try ot to get yourself worked up before hand and you will be fine Mew |
