Without an mp3 player? A good one i mean.
I am now the proud owner of a brand new iPhone and i'm putting all my cds on, or songs from cds where i hate the rest of the album and it's MAZING.
I feel so young and so old all rolled into one, but more than anything, i don't know how i lived with only CDs (and tapes - but shhh) to fill my music greedy ears.

Being able to play music and answer phone calls without ever putting your hand in your pocket is pretty good. Also saves on being terribly embarassed when your ringtone spurts out If You Wanna Be My Lover by the Spice Girls in the middle of a restaurant. | |

I've downloaded 'I'm gonna whip somebodies arse' as his android ringtone assigned to me. Apparently it raised eyebrows in the pub earlier when I placed my drink order! The nice lady with the whip.

Looking at the price of an ipod for the amount of memory you get, they seem very poor value. 16 gig micro SD cards for phones are only £17 now - how much memory do you need? Even with 16 gig I can't quite get all my music on my HTC Desire (and to be honest the sound quality is the worst bit of a marvelous phone - new headphones required, I think) but it saves carrying another shiny thing around. Just need a vinyl player app. now...
