I know that this thread immediately pounced on the dangers of *actual* hanging and dwelt on it for the duration, but the OP appears to be asking - very specifically - for anything but. The frisson of the execution fantasy for me, as it appears to be with the OP, is not the act of execution itself but the deliberately cold, clinical intensity of the bond between executioner and condemned criminal during preparation for the event itself. The anticipation and terrifying inevitability of violence is the exciting part. A noose never even needs to go near a neck. | ||

It would be very similar to a judicial caning. It's all about convincing role play that has been thoroughly prepared for. Powerful stuff. Eric Stanton ran a breath play workshop last year in york I think and hanging was part of it. Anything can be done safely and there are loads of people who have done this form of play. There's a German gentleman friend who doid a week-long scene on this theme at SISC camp some years ago. IOt started from the trial, being found guilty, and being put into chains in the condemned cell, the whole rigmarole, every last detail, right up to the dawn walk, last rites (in Latin), the drop and the being boxed and buried ... My sub also enjoys breathplay,I like the absolute control I have over him when,usually bag him,however I always free him pretty quickly as I worry!

You can take bagging quite a long way before it gets too risky. The trick is to let them empty their lungs fully and then take a deep breath before you bag them. You'll hear their breathing go through two stages before they run out of air entirely, the lower the oxygen content, the raggedier the breathing. If he is comfortable to take it further try a little longer than you normally would and perhaps build up.
