I know some here wont have yet an idea of larping i was wondering how many on IC play in different system's around the country, For those of you who dont know, Live Action Role Play is base on fabtasy game's set in 'nether' world's filled of fay's orcs, dwarf's humans warlocks an the like, over weekends hundred's of larper's use different campsite's many hire scoutcamps for a weekend to play out a game senario set by a games-master a quest if you like each person determine's thier race and role before an event the games master has set a quest and also monsters to twart the quest the the players must overcome, its all costume/armour of varying degree's and complexity and casting spells an whacking people with larp safe weponry swords axes and the like, there are plenty of larp sites on the web to get a better idea of what i,m talking about Well my thought was if enough people were intrested that one wonders how a fetish driven larp weekend would go ? I've attended Curious Pastimes for the last 8 years or so, fingers crossed im going to be a faction ref this year having been put forward at the end of last season. What would you do to make it a 'fetish' style event? Something along the lines of OWK but with opposing empires of FemDom vs MaleDom, with limited combat by raiding parties on 'isolated' elements of each side? Say friday night and saturday morn life as normal. Then sat afternoon empire A raids village B. Sunday morn empire B raids village A. Late sunday pack up? Short post, more later. I think enforcing the rules wouldn't be any more difficult than in any other BDSM event, so long as there are enough well recognised refs. You could also have an Event-wide safeword. If you hear it, come running. It would be possible to designate a play area, so that any play outside of it is an automatic ban from the event, and in this way ensure that all play can be monitored properly. You'd be needing a slavers guild, naturally :D |

As an ex re-enactor I have been trying to find out about larps and I know of a couple of others also interested. I even know of a venue that has been looking into the possibility of running a fetish larp. |

The Cruel Huntress Hunts are maybe a bit similar. The subs are either prey when being hunted or serving when not, and it lasts all day. ETA: I think LARPing sounds awesome!!!! i played a LARP based on Whiite Wolfs Vampire the Masquerade for years, have been invited to play a game set in the world created by Neil Gaiman for his Neverwhere series and get invited to The Gathering every year. i think a Vampire based fetish game would be interesting but don't think there would be more than a handful of people interested in it. Many, many moons ago, I was into LARP.
Not that surprising, I usually was a little clumsy witch.
My powers left me at the most peculiar moments.
Which meant that I was tied to trees by orks and other evil-ish characters quite a few times.
