Perhaps there is an exception to this, seemingly, immutable law, but I don't know of it.

Lamb steak, broccoli and carrots.
There ya go. An excess of both syllables and yumminess.

No, what you've got there is Sunday roast.
|
Thank you. That's a much better way of viewing it.
I may be in the gutter, but I am looking at the bars.

You may have a point there. I want to argue that, just by saying steak and kidney, everyone knows it's pudding or pie, so it's not necessary to add it on the end, thus keeping it to the three syllable rule. Not too convincing, is it?
|
But steak and kidney is 4 syllables so you may as well go the whole hog and distinguish between pie and pudding. |

macaroni cheese.
I challenge you to re-package that as a Sunday Roast. |

Ooooops! *insert stupidly blushing smiley here*
Yep, pie or pudding, (pudding's nicer), it's definitely an exception.

Ah, but there's no need, as it doesn't fit my idea of a best meal or snack, etc., it can have a hundred syllables. I may be in the gutter, but I am looking at the bars.

No, I'm open to persuasion. I've already had to accept steak and kidney pudding. But they do have to be special.... and I can be quite fickle with the rules.
