Meribel-Mottarett. Pretty but expensive to eat. I stayed in a chalet owned by AMS rentals. ______________________________

been skiing since i was 2. It is a core part of me. One of my only loves and the purest connection I have with nature. No social or behavioral habits can come close to intervene. Skiing is a serious business, making fun of it not just makes you look like an idiot but also is a massive waste of the experience. Restrict your urges to the hotel

Not only a serious business but a hugely profitable one.
Did someone say their resort was too expensive to eat? All I ask is a tall ship and a star to steer her by.

No, I said it was expensive to eat - as in "at a restaurant". The one local shop was extremely pricey too.
I barely survived on wine and cheese all week! ______________________________

We've already been. It was good. I remember in particular 1 Jan in brilliant sunshine, no cloud in the sky all day. (Without a man but more than tolerable none the less)

I really, really want to stay in a little wooden hytte cabin in the middle of some Norwegian woods, as far North as possible, next to a ski track of some kind, be birched with gathered birch, the hot birch burn cooled with a tumble in the snow, the cold skin warmed with a slug of brandy over the weals... and then just at that moment the aurora borealis appears to take me into a super-nova solar wind sub-space. The rest of the time can be spent langlaufing I suppose.

That's no big deal. Ski instructors do it all the time (ski backwards that is). Takes about as long to learn as to become a snowboard instructor - 10 minutes. I'm a bad, bad boy, and I'm going to steal your love. Edited 11 Feb 11, 5:25 AM by roblxxx |
