Dear Everyone I just wanted to say a very big thank you to everyone that has been sending love, cards, emails, lighting candles, praying and just thinking of me. I would also like to thank everyone that was sending all the same to K, Rachel and the rest of our family to keep their strength up. I think it was even more difficult for them than me at times. When I think about how many people from around the world have been thinking of me, it is overwhelming to the point of tears. I am a testament to the compassion of people. To everyone that said nice things about me, "You can't take them back just because I lived"..winks. I was absolutely blown away when K brought all the cards and emails to me in the hospital. I even had a digital picture frame rolling constantly of all the people that were asking after me and all our family. The cards were on the hospital room walls and rotated every couple of days so each card had pride of place. I can say it now, there were times when I wondered if I really had the strength to continue. On many a day, K would have to remind me that I wasn't a quitter. I was just so tired. I wondered if I was ever going to be normal, or at least as normal as I've ever been..~laughs~. Well folks... I'm back... and plan to grow old as disgracefully as possible.
