Ah fuck it, I've been out of the loop so long -- haven't been to a munch for about 6 months, and longer since I've been to a club -- I can't be arsed hunting through all the damn posts trying to figure out who's who and what's what.
I'm off to Leeds next weekend, and I thought I'd come on to see who's all going, but there's never been much of a profile for the rubberlubbers on IC I suppose, so there's nothing much to see here. Thing is, I suppose I needn't have bothered because once I get there, I'll see the folk I know, the same old, lovely faces I can't wait to see and I'll be totally happy. These days I'm mostly happy being one of the old faces and known only among my small social group. I suppose I don't feel such a great need to reach out as much as I used to.
However, and herein lies the rub, sometimes, just now and again, I miss doing the social thang. Sometimes I wonder if I would actually love to start travelling around a bit and extend my network of pals. But all of that takes so much time, and time's a commodity I don't really have these days.
It would appear that this blog marks the farthest extent of my current desire to reach out. So, hello old chums, those as know me, hope you're ok. Me? Why I'm fine thank you very much. If you're out to play next weekend, say hi will ya?
As for all these new faces; enjoy your discoveries, I hope you find fun and frolics, because after all, there's nothing like adventure to keep the blood boiling.
