My friend Claire has an anniversary tomorrow. One that she'll never see and one I wish she didn't have.
February 6th is the second anniversary of her murder. Miss_Violet was a good friend of many people both out on the scene and online. I take pride in the fact I was one of those people she'd call a friend.
It really doesn't seem 12 months ago that I wrote the weblog listed above, but how things seem and how they really are, often bear no resemblance.
Time does strip you of that raw emotion that feels like something's ripping inside of you but it never heals that pain fully. And I don't think I'd want it to in this case.
She'll never be forgotten by me nor by many others.
For Claire.
Dave.
