I was looking at some photos of an artist I like, Salvador Dali, and to my pleasant surprise saw one in which he is wearing a burgundy velvet jacket.
I was pleased, because I have a burgundy velvet jacket. Although his one was made of crushed velvet and mine standard velvet, and though his was probably superior to mine, I am still very pleased because Salvador Dali was a dandy.
I do not try and clone my style on other dappers. But it is still morale boosting to know that.
