Texts, now an acceptable way to communicate and I am one of the very fortunate people who has someone to either send or receive them from.
This morning I sent my good morning text to my mate, she immediately replied with 'guess who over laid'. I found this so funny as I had an image of her rolling around on the floor crying out 'help me I'm fucked half to death and I can't get up' (ok, I accept my translation and sense of humour may not be everyone's cup of tea) . I replied to her, 'what did I do before I had you to give me a giggle in a morning'
Then I started thinking, over two years, I think there may be one or two days that we haven't sent texts to each other, (I reckon we could both be locked up for some of them). What did I do before that? Who made me smile so much in a morning before her? Then it struck me, my princess of madness missed our 2 year anniversary! I immediately complained to her, it did no good.
Miss calamity (sorry your Horribleness I know her correct title, but this isn't about You, its all about us!) stepped into my life like she belonged, I was taken aback by this I don't do friends. I tried to distance myself but like a steam roller she just kept on chugging away and one day I realised I liked having a friend who was crazier than me.
She possibly does not know this, but she has made me laugh when I haven't even had the will to get out of bed and face another day, she has seen me through totally inappropriate relationships, yet never judged.
An abortion.
My father's death. Illness
My terror as my mother went through 2 operations.
My fear as my sister was diagnosed with cancer.
Numerous fights with my beloved children.
A death that shock my very foundations.
Work that almost took over my life.
And heart break.
Wow, I didn't realise it was so much my little ray of princessness! That's a whole load of off loading I did on you in 2 years.
Hmm, now the missed anniversary thing doesn't seem important. I started this blog meaning to make it amusing, (so what if only me and the trollop laugh) funny how when you start something you never know where it will lead.
My original title was 'oi fanny, have ya forgot me'
(don't you dare cry lady, and no thank you i do not wanna play with ya foo foo)
