We would like to extend a warm welcome to all who wish to attend our first night of a new Bath munch. We have secured a pub venue that will be allowing us exclusive use of the first floor function room. It will be cordoned off at the bottom of the steps with a sign marked "KB upstairs". The function room has a pool table, large flat screen TV and plenty of seating for everyone. We also have a private toilet on the landing. Organisers and greeters will be on hand from 7:00pm should anyone arrive early or for new attendees that might have questions before the meet begins. There is on street parking available from 6:00pm outside and we will make every attempt to provide lifts from the rail station should anyone need it. Since this event is on the first floor we regrettably do not have disabled access. Event Guidelines We find a basic set of guidelines to be better than rules but please be mindful of these:
Munch Format The format will consist of a social for the first 2 hours, followed by announcements of upcoming area events, a group activity and panel discussion Q & A for the final hour. Those that wish to stay on after are welcome to as the pub is open until midnight. Lending Library We will be looking to set up a lending library so that kinksters may have access to literature and related resource material. If you have books you would like to donate to this then we will gladly accept them. Yes there will be a kinky librarian on hand to handle all book queries. Munch Buddies We want to extend an environment that is as welcoming to newcomers as it is seasoned veterans. To this end we will be setting up a Munch Buddy system for those who may be apprehensive in attending for the first time. The idea is to have someone who is known and trusted within the community who is of the same sex, orientation and D/s role be available to answer questions, share experience and perhaps even accompany you to your first munch. If you need a munch buddy or would like to be a munch buddy you may contact us at: kinkybath (at) gmail (dot) com or post here.

The last one was held in December. From what I understand one of the organisers is now a co-host of the Bristol Munch and is focusing on that while the other organiser is taking a break from the public scene. There were a few posts asking if it was going to continue and I was advised that someone needed to step up for a munch to continue in Bath. As a Bath resident and someone who has co-organised large munches in the past I have put together a new meet. Others who were directly involved in the last munch may wish to comment further...

I will definitely be there as well. Looking forward to this. Well, what a fab inauguration!! Lively, friendly, interesting...a terrific new event to round out the area. Hats off to you, PapaNoir, especially, but also to everyone. Really good crowd.
