I've no idea where this notion just came from but the idea of interacting in a kinky or D/s way within the damp, echoey environment of a cave just sprang to mind... Has anyone tried this? If so, what's your verdict? "Know thyself!"

Not to mention the fact that when there's a couple of hundred feet of rock between you and the surface no-one will hear the screams ... FEMALE, BONDAGE-FRIENDLY MODEL SOUGHT. I am seeking to update my "How To" shibari bondage pictures (see my profile pics, the clothed blonde tied in red and black) with a model more "enthusiastic" about BDSM, and who is happy to be photographed nude. MEMO ME if this is you.

At the back of the Marina Fountain where we hold the St Leonards munch. There's a series of caves that were reinforced, and used during the second world war as bomb shelters. A few of us in the pub have discussed mounting an expedition one day and having an explore... Maybe this summer? Owner of The Croppery Dungeon and Breakfast. Organises The St Leonards munch.

Think they have been totally bricked up since the slide about 20 years ago. The council did get a bit funny and blocked them along with the ones down in rock a nore. There was an old entrance to the ones in the west hill via croft road but again think the owner of the propety got naffed with kids trying to get into it and blocked it up. There is a fella who would know and if you want the details for him then pm me. lily

I've tried it and have fond memories of it too I'd recommend caves in Yorkshire rather than Derbyshire though. The last time the glacial ice melted all the crap flowed into the Derbyshire caves filling them with slimy bright red clay.

There was a club running in South Shields until just recently, called The Cave Club which was held inside an old smuggler's cave that's been converted into a restaurant. They had the dungeon set up inside the actual cave part of the building which was brilliant and really added to the ambiance. It's a pity it doesn't seem to be open any more, although the organisers did mention that they may be able to open up again after Christmas. Fingers crossed. it was a great club. Suffering for the one you love is never a chore but an honor which brings a sense of pride and accomplishment. ~ me 2010

Yup but it's chilly, damp, occassional bird droppings and concerns about tides/emmets/dog walkers is terribly distracting. My fave cave has a beautiful poem and picture carved in it with a romantic story of parted lovers but it's not a good play space. Memorial energy isn't my kinda kinky. Play in Tunnels under uni are a habit of my student days that I have no inclination to revisit. "Yes, but that's just not relevant.."

http://www.clearwellcaves.com/ in the Forest Of Dean are available for hire for a party, very atmospheric, very private, and only damp in places ... I had thought of taking my ponies to be pit ponies there, but as I/we'd need a larger group than I could probably muster to make it break even as an event.
