I bought a "cheap" CB3000, as much as anything to see whether chastity play would work for us. The "real" version is made from polycarbonate, the version I have is probably acrylic, and as one of the rings broke whilst fitting it, I think that is the case. The issue of splitting along the tube seems fairly common, you could always get some plastics glue from a model shop and run some extra along the seam between the two halves of the tube moulding, which is the main problem area. I found the hinged ring to be a major problem, as it causes (for me) a sore to develop after a few days, which makes the whole exercise unsatisfactory. I'm waiting for a solid ring to arrive, to see if that cures the problem. I think I would advise getting a cheap version and see if it works for you, before getting a "real" one. be a switch, double your fun | |

Can I start by saying that I would not recommend buying the cheap "knock off" designs you can buy on eBay etc, the quality is poor, the finish can be questionable at best (sharp edges) and you'll find you get what you paid for (it's cheap...) Speaking as someone who sells the CB 6000 I'd point out that it is the new and improved version of the CB series. Firstly the back ring is a 3/4 circumference ring with a 1/4 circumference top section meaning it no longer has the hinge which caused some people problems with skin/ hair being trapped or reacting badly to the metal. Secondly the "locator pins" point forward instead of backwards so you don't need to cut them off or file them down to stop them sticking into you. Thirdly the central pin is oval in cross section meaning you don't have the problem of the padlock twisting round and round as could happen on the 3000. Additionally the joining seam has been moved from the side (where it was subject to stress if the cock cage flexed) to down the centre making it less likely to crack. The "head" of the cock cage has also been redesigned allowing more space for guys who are not circumcised (most American men are, most Brit guys aren't) making it easier to clean As with the 3000 and Curve etc it comes with different length spacers, different sized back rings and a set of plastic padlocks in case you need to go through metal detectors. Thanks for that. Im delighted that you are happy with it. And I still have some left. They are Chinese made, so they are the cheaper options. We have used these extensively and not had any problems with quality at all. I have no doubt that the American made ones are higher quality materials though and considerably more expensive.

I have had both a genuine and a copy CB3000. The chinese copy had by far the best box, really professional. The plastic however had air bubbles in it. I also got a CB6000 (maybe 2 can't remember) one of which was off eBay but second hand and came with a spare cage. Both cages had been reinforced with additional glue. All the rings, genuine and copy, 3000 and 6000, will break if manhandled too much. The 3000 cage breaks where the holes go through. The 6000 rings break at the holes too. | |

I bought one of the cheap CB6000 clones. Apart from the two halves separating (inferior glue?) I had no problems with the quality of the construction. I managed to glue it back together with a multi-purpose adhesive. It wasn't pretty, but it held. The reason I stopped using the 6000 was the size of the cage. I'm not one to boast (I don't think I have reason to in all honesty) but I have to twist the cage on with a corkscrew motion even when flaccid, the fit is that tight. I tried wearing it overnight once, and when I removed it, the smell of stale urine was overpowering. Presumably some had managed to force its way between my cock and the plastic sleeve, and once there, there was no way of cleaning or airing it without removing the cage. It's sitting in a drawer now, and we've reverted to using a (behind the balls) cock ring as an ownership symbol for the moment. If we ever go down the CB route again, I'm pretty sure we'll go for the curve, with its bigger cage and better access for hygiene purposes. The 6000 is also very easy to pull out of too. With the right sized collar and spacer, it's impossible to remove it from your balls, but you can slip the old fella out if you fancy a wafty and just about get it to go back in when you're done. That rather defeats the object of a chastity device if you ask me. | |

There is another option. The other one that we use (and sell) is like a metal version of the Curve. It is much easier to clean, has a good sized cage portion yet still undetectable under clothes, and is really secure. You absolutely could not remove this from your body without a key. There is no smell like the plastic ones and all round a much better option. Theres a picture here This is the best of this type of design that we have found. |
